Master of Arts in Peace Studies (two-year international program)
This international M.A. in Peace Studies aims to train professional peacebuilders who are equipped with multi-perspectival peacebuilding lenses, conflict resolution skills, ethical capacity and sensitivity to local values and cultures. Upon the completion of the program, students will be able to critically apply conflict and peace studies theories from various perspectives and propose creative solutions to conflicts in their own and cross-cultural contexts based on social science and ethics in peace studies traditions.
Our program provides a comprehensive foundation of peacebuilding knowledge and skills through various core courses and elective courses, combining professional and academic skills, theories and experiential fieldwork.
Minimum Qualifications for Application
1. Bachelor’s degree in any field
2. English proficiency score equivalent to TOEF (iBT) score of 72. (This can be waived if the applicant is graduated from an international degree program that uses English as the main language of instruction, or can be supplemented later before the Comprehensive Examination).
